Making Waves:
Empowering Communities Through Swimming

Bringing Swim Safety to Everyone
At the Sweet Blue Foundation, we believe that drowning prevention is a life skill that should be accessible to children from all backgrounds and life circumstances. Our primary mission is to provide our community with equal access to critical life-saving training in water safety.
Additionally, our swim classes develop self-confidence, knowledge and resilience, aiming to foster a lifelong passion for aquatic sports, long shown to have health benefits, particularly during the early stages of childhood development.

What we do
Provide Free Swim Classes
We offer scholarships to provide free swim classes for underserved members of our community. The classes take place at Sweet Blue Swim Academy — the premier swim school in Fairfield County, CT.
Advocate for Water Safety
We engage governmental agencies in promoting, supporting and strengthening drowning prevention programs and legislation throughout our state and community.
Fund Research
We focus on advancing and funding research on the connection between early childhood development and aquatic sports, partnering with institutions of higher learning, educational agencies, companies, and sports organizations.
